Hi, We have lived in Venice for a year now and have found it difficult to meet other families with kids in the area. I have started a local playgroup on the site(free), www.raisingthem.com to try and establish a place where local parents could meet other families. The group name is, Venice/Sarasota area kids. We are an active playgroup. There are always things on the schedule to do in the area with kids. There are always events to fit many different schedules, weekdays, eve and weekends. I also encourage all members to get involved in planning events. Please come and join our playgroup,we look forward to meeting new families. (There is no membership fees)
